Vital Burnley currently sponsor the Burnley FC Supporters Team (BST) and the site has agreed to work more closely with them to promote their activities and support their fund-raising initiatives.
One aspect to this will be working with their Chief Executive Kev Robinson (aka Razo) to put up their press releases on a more regular basis
Today therefore we start a new feature updating our posters on the exploits of the Burnley FC Supporters Team as they too prepare for a new pre-season campaign.
If you would like to know more about the BST or indeed want to play for them then you can find out more by contacting Kev Robinson via this link:

They also have a website where you can find out more information too:

Here are a couple of articles we have received concerning BST's pre-season preparation plus some news of their captain and goalkeeper Will O'Neill
Burnley compete at NFM and Worldnet
Burnley FC Supporters Team begin their pre-season campaign on Sunday with a visit to Preston for their second appearance at the National Football Museum tournament.
Last year injury hit the squad meaning we could only just field a team, yet we still managed to finish as runners up of the plate competition on the day. Injury forced goalkeeper and captain Will O'Neill played upfront for most of the day, although his replacement in goal James Wynne saved a number of penalties in a semi-final shootout.
The event runs between 10am and 5pm at Vernons Sports Club in Preston, and we have been drawn in Group C with Crewe, Kidderminster and Preston's B team.
This leads up to the presigious Worldnet tournament in Leeds at the end of the month.
Teams from across the world take place in the 2-day event, with recent entries coming from countries such as France, Ireland and Nigeria. The majorities of the entries are from the IFA supporters teams from throughout England and Scotland. The tournament features the 64 team IFA Cup and Plate competition alongside the IFA Veteran's Bowl event. The weekend also features the IFA England vs Scotland International and then the Final of the IFA Challenge Cup.
Kev Robinson revealed his anticipation.
'Despite not doing quite as well as we had hoped last year, we really enjoyed what was a very well run tournament by our friends at Preston North End.
'This year promises once again to be a fantastic occasion and hopefully we can bring back some silverware.
'We are making our debut at Worldnet this year and from hearing feedback from other camps we are set for a very exciting weekend.'
Will O'Neill is Scottish International Goalkeeper
Burnley FC Supporters Team captain and goalkeeper Will O'Neill has been called up to the Scotland squad for the supporters game against England at the 'Worldnet` tournament in Leeds next month. Steve Cowell of Preston said "Well done mate on your selection, having represeted my country last year it`s something you will always be able to tell your grandkids that you once played for Scotland. People might laugh mate but at any level if your playing for your country it`s something to be proud of."
Burnley Supporters Team Chief Executive Kev Robinson congratulated Will:
'I'm delighted to see Will in the squad, he has been fantastic both on and off the pitch for us all last season and has been rightly rewarded.'
He is one of only three players from English clubs in the squad. The full squad is listed below… Will O`Neil - Burnley Steve Tenant - Aberdeen Raymond Guidice - Dunfermline Michael Rogers - St Johnstone Grant Taylor - Dunfermline Alan Smith - Hearts Dave Paterson - Aberdeen Brian Copeland - QPR Nick Elder - St Johnstone Alan Richardson - Dundee Utd Jamie Borthwick - Hearts Scott Anderson - Motherwell Gareth Thomas - Tranmere Dale Walker - St Johnstone Steve Taft - Aberdeen Mark O`Neil - Hearts
