Rumour Mill-Villa want McCann

The News of the World today report that Aston Villa are keen to bring Clarets midfielder, Chris McCann to Villa Park.

The paper goes on to say that the 21 year old Irishman is therefore being offered a four-year contract extension by Owen Coyle in an effort to keep him at Turf Moor.

Lets just hope we can keep him and avoid being VILLANS of the peace!

Any good chaps? Seems the right sort of age for what MON likes to target, must admit I know nothing about this player at all.

Highly rated midfielder and only 21. Linked to other Prem clubs in past, would have been hard to keep onto him had we not got promoted, now we stand a chance so hands off!! ;-)

warning noted! Would think he'd be better staying where he would be guaranteed (?) first team football for the season.

Yeah, he should stay with us, and if we get relegated, Villa can have him for 8 million :-)

I think he should stay at least another season. Regular football and if he has a good season, he would get better wages should he leave.

I think he will stay one more year. It would seem to make sense and he can get some real premiership experiance on a regular basis!
