Now It's Bradford Away Again in Pre-Season

The Clarets will be visiting the Coral Windows Stadium again as part of their pre-season build up.

They will play League 2 side Bradford City on Saturday 11 July.

Bradford finished ninth in the League Two table this season missing out on the play-off spots by just two points

Burnley will now be playing two Yorkshire sides in the Summer after it was earlier announced that Leeds would be playing the Clarets at Turf Moor on Saturday 1st August.

This will be the third successive season they have played the Bantams in the summer and with the Clarets already on a tour of the US in July, Burnley fans might be wondering if we are likely to be playing more stronger opposition bearing in mind the Premier League test ahead.

I do hope we are going to be playing some better quality teams ahead of the Prem League challenge. Championship at least?

Might there be more friendlies than usual this year, with the Prem starting later than the Championship??? If so, let's hope it's not just Accy still to be announced, though they deserve another visit for all of the games they host.

Maybe they could squeeze it that friendly against Man U we are apparantly due after the Cofie deal! ;-)

News on www.bbc of the Accies in a spot of financial bother due to dwindling gates and financial problems of their main sponsor. I wonder if folk switched from there to the Turf this season?
Couch Potato
Well if they didn't this season, they might next in an effort to see local Prem League football played to a better standard than the Barstewards!! Yep,saw the problems Accy were having.Accrington Stanley have been issued with a winding-up order by HM Revenue and Customs over unpaid debts, but remain hopeful they will survive.
