So Far-o, so good?

The Clarets have been spotted this morning, as the email I received below shows:

'Thought you may be interested, just seen Owen and the boys off on the 8 a.m. to Faro.

Owen was in front of me at security and seemed happy and relaxed though he was nervous for me when I told him we were only flying back on the monday!

Same went for the lads, relaxed too!

A good sign!'

Let's hope that the lads get some good training in, as well as a chance to relax a bit and get away from the pressure, whilst recharging their batteries AND staying focused on the task in hand.

Thanks to my airport 'mole' for the information!

As I say, a mate was at the airport at the same time - I thought I had struck gold. Bugger The Sun! (I would prefer the sun myself lol!)

Burnley FC certainly kept that quiet probably because the Club are suffering from Ticketitis at the moment!

While you lot were reading The Sun, and everyone was worrying about their tickets (I am watching my postbox like a hawk.), did anyone see how the Wembley turf was holding up as Torquay beat Cambridge? I don't have Setanta, so I have no idea. But if it's as heavy as it was for the FA Cup semis, it could certainly favour hoofball. That said, the Blades played some decent football against PNE, so we need to be ready for anything. How many minutes is it since we last conceded? The ticket office staff probably need to be ready for anything too. Can't be much fun working in there at the moment.

Ticket Zone are doing my head in,just heard they put back first despatch date until tomorrow so we should get them by special delivery by 1pm Wednesday! Sweating buckets here. Saw the pitch on local news living in Cambs, looked OK but you never know

Nothing in my Monday post from the Foundation office today (Monday). The club website continues to encourage Fndn members to call that office. But when I tried just now to ask when tickets were being despatched their line was 'temporarily out of order'! So I went to look for my local Blackburn fan and told him that we drew 1-1 at Stamford Bridge, which compared favourably to their 2-0 loss yesterday... which made me feel a bit better.

You could also quote Blackburn 0-4 Arsenal compared to Burnley 2-0 Arsenal too! 4-0 at Emirates too, marginally worse than our 3-1 defeat!

If you still need cheering up, go to http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/r/rangers/8054856.stm and read about Lafferty admitting that he is way below standard!!! A Gers fan phoned me at the time to say 'it was the most disgraceful thing he has ever seen on a football pitch". In fairness to Laffs he might improve now he has learned to acknowledge his shortcomings.

I still haven't received my tickets - this is starting to become unfunny!
