'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Owls v Clarets- The Final Word

The Wednesday Manager

'I think a draw was a fair result because Burnley had a couple of clear cut chances they maybe should have done better with, but if someone had told me we’d increase our pointage on third-bottom I’d have taken it and I’m glad we’re still unbeaten in for games.'

Paul Sturrock

The Clarets Gaffer

'We had three good headers and Gray also had a good chance. With four gilt-edged chances like that, we're disappointed to have not taken all three points.'

Sheff Wed fan

'It was hardly a great game in all honesty, and although we had more of the ball, it was Burnley who had the easier chances. Still, we are a point further on than Millwall, and that is our objective now.'

Ken Bordington

The Clarets Fan

'It wasn't the prettiest game I have been to, but a clean sheet on the road is better. We should really have taken one of our chances, but it seems like we are safe now, so we can plan for next year.'

Martin Bell

The Local Paper

'The Clarets were unfortunate not to earn their first away win since November after creating, but wasting, several gilt-edged chances at Hillsborough.'

Since the arrival of three new players ,Burnley are showing a new face . A draw away from home is welcome . Not to forget that Wednesday have also new players . They have re-invigorated the team a lot . Personally i am satisfied with the result .
