Hull of a Game after Hell of a Game?

Clarets fans had an interest in the outcome of the FA Cup 5th Round Replay between Hull City and Sheffield United at the KC Stadium last night.

The winners would play Burnley at Turf Moor in the quarter final if (and it's a big if!) Arsenal can be defeated by the Clarets at the Emirates on Sunday 8th March in our FA Cup 5th Round match.

Well assuming we can dish out yet more Capital Punishment and pull off yet another cup shock against a London-based Premier League side, it will be the Tigers who will be coming to Turf Moor and not the Blades.

Phil Brown's men were 2-1 winners over Kevin Blackwell's side last night so Burnley face the prospect of playing yet another Premier League side if the Gunners fall to the Clarets for the second time this season.

Burnley of course defeated the Young Gunners 2-0 at Turf Moor in the Carling Cup Quarter Final last December but this new clash will be far more difficult for the Clarets. Arsenal, currently 5th in the Premier League wont be fielding their kids in this competition and Burnley can expect to face virtually the first team side in front of a large, noisy home crowd.

Clarets fans are reminded too, that tickets for the Emirates game will go on general sale at Turf Moor this Saturday with each person allowed up to six tickets. Further details can be found via this link:

If we get past the Gunners we will probably win the whole thing so I'm not really thinking about Hull.

The way Arsenal are playing at the moment score one goal and you win. Good luck.
