Get Down The Turf Support The Boys!

BURNLEY FOOTBALL CLUB, stand aside we'll never give up, get down the Turf support the boys, make sure that you MAKE SOME NOISE! ... No it's not karaoke night on Vital Burnley!

Hundreds of fans turned up at Turf Moor on Friday afternoon in good voice to put their voices on a new club track entitled 'Dare to dream (Mighty Burnley)'

Nine-year-old school girl Jasmine Clarkson wrote the song for her late granddad thread but on hearing the song, a local Indie artist Andrew Gilmour took the lyrics and developed them into a new club song.

Over 300 supporters turned up for the recording with a further 130 kids joining in from the Half-Term holiday camps running at the club creating a sea of claret and blue infront of the awaiting ITV, BBC and SkySports cameras.

The club then plans to give the song back to the fans as a free download on the official club website for a limited time. The song will then be sold as a CD in the club shop.
