It's Snow Joke, Setanta!!

According to a Daily Mirror report, he Clarets have missed out on an 80,000 pay-out from Setanta which would have been due from the TV coverage of the recent FA Cup victory against West Brom in the 4th Round Replay

The 4th round replay at Turf Moor was going to be the live match after Arsenal's replay with Cardiff City was postponed due to heavy snow in the South East and London areas.

The same snow prevented the Setanta crew from getting their cameras up North with their trucks stuck in London unable to drive though the white stuff.

Blooming typical, when you need money, it goes elsewhere due to an Act of God! I don't believe in a Deity anyway but if I did, I bet his Lordship wouldn't be wearing a Claret & Blue scarf!

Turfmanphil that last one really Sleighed me. Is there a Slush fund anywhere we could get a Piste of the action for some tv money or would we get a Frosty reception?

Hope our new signing, Freeze Williams, isn't reading this. Might be earmuff to send him sliding back to Middlesbrrrr.

Well like I said elsewhere, Joey Gudlongjonsson could come on from the bench and give Dichael Muff some company. We will have to hope that Chris Snowy Eagles is fully recovered though and that Snowin Coyle can put out a full sixteen

Is it Cold-well it is freezing. Let's hope we have a Ski-eme to deal with it and not just Skate over the details. We want to shine just like a BeRisha beacon, give our players a midwinter BLake, not Mahon and Groan and give the opposition Helli-a-ot.

I'm sorry I just couldn't Alp myself. The Moguls at Santa (Setanta) had a Claus in the contract. I think they should take a running ski-jump it's not as if 80k is Luge change to us is it.

I thawght we had just about exhausted this topic. Igloo all want to carry on that's fine by me. Let's hope that if BFC fall behind on Saturday that they can keep Wolves penguined their box. If they don't Owen might have to rink the changes !
