Burnley X-Files-Where are they Now?

Burnley X-Files-Where are they Now?

Vital Burnley will be launching a new feature soon about our old players and we need your help to decide who to review.

Who were your favourite Clarets players from the past? Would you like to know what happened to them after they left and who they play for now? If they are no longer playing, would you like to know what they are now up to?

We cant promise to research them all but we would like to know who would interest you to give us a steer in the first place.

There is only one criteria, they must be still alive!

The idea has been suggested by our poster 8clarets8 and we will kick off with his suggestion of Dimi Papadopoulos

Clarets fans seemed to either love or loathe the Greek lad and Dimi certainly brings out the passions whenever his name is mentioned on messageboards.

We are currently researching the player and will try & bring you our update by the end of February.

But who else should we research? Well let us know by commenting on this article below. Just select one player please, the one you really would like to know more about to answer the question 'Where are they Now?'

I will be going for one of my idols from the 70s but not the usual stars of that period that are mentioned quite frequently. I might do a Geoff Nulty or a Doug Collins

What a great idea - one that should get fans of all ages interested and thumbing through the Clarets Chronicles. My era was the late 70s and early 80s so I'll throw in Phil Cavener or Kevin Young.
