Stewart Provides O'Dea Confirmation

Stewart Provides O'Dea Confirmation

Burnley assistant manager Sandy Stewart speaking to the media has confirmed the club's interest in bringing the Celtic defender, Darren O'Dea to Turf Moor on loan for the rest of the season

'We've approached Celtic with a view to taking Darren on loan until the end of the season and now we have to wait to see what happens.

'Celtic won't entertain a permanent move for him but we're hoping to get the okay to bring him down here.

'At the moment, we have only five defenders for four positions and we've already played 38 matches this season so we need to bring someone else in.'
