Rumour Mill-Dont Fly to Boro, Eagles!

Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate has launched a £2million raid for Chris Eagles according to the Daily Mirror today further adding to speculation about this possible move rumoured towards the end of last year.

£2 million? You are having a laff!! If Eagles goes, I will feel like tearing up my season ticket. Of course I wont, but I don't know how many more seasons of selling our key players no matter where we are in the League, I can take!

Also in Express-Middlesbrough are ready to offer Burnley £2m for Chris Eagles. (Daily Express)

I'm a Boro fan and think Eagles is worth around £4million. If the rumours are true I'm pretty sure Southgate is just testing the water. If we do get him we'll have to cough up more like £4million. We need a natural right winger.

I think it gets complicated too because Man U have apparantly first refusal on taking him back but you are right we sold Lafferty for £4m and Eagles is worth at least same if not far more

Eagles is proven Lafferty wasn't, Has to be worth more?Boro can't afford him unless Downing goes, your best bet Boro is go for Glen little ;-)

Glen Little.. very funny. I would rather have Phil Stamp on the wing than that Pompey tosh.

2m - thats a joke offer up their with Jewells 500k for blake
Claretdale
Maybe man city will offer us £100 million for him ;-)

What a load of kaka, 8C8 lol!! Interestingly the Eagles rumour has gone quiet now, maybe Coyle has fallen out with Southgate over McMahon and told him where to go!! ;-)
