New Supporters Club for South West and Wales

Vital Burnley would like to announce the official launch of the new Supporters Club and dedicated website for those Clarets exiled in the South West of England and Wales.

For those of you that use various Burnley websites, you may well have come across the site owner and editor before. His name is Rich and usually goes by the name of zumerzet_claret.

Andy Smith (Smitrit) one of Vital Burnley's co-editors met Rich in Bristol before our recent victory at Ashton Gate.

Andy is based in Wales and with Rich and others is very keen to make watching Burnley for fans in the South West of England and South Wales far easier and cheaper.

There are roughly 200 known Burnley fans scattered around this region and many of them would love the opportunity to see the Clarets play on a more regular basis.

Distance is obviously an issue especially with work commitments, but so are finances. The idea of this new website is to offer a resource for those in the area to find extra passengers and/or car share to cut down on costs.

A dedicated message forum is available for those looking to car share or offer available places in their transport to home and away games. There is also an option of coach hire.

Rich has struck a great deal with a local coach company to make the journey much more affordable, but numbers are needed to fill the coaches before this option is viable.

If you are interested to join up to the website which is very quick and free, then please visit Clarets 456 Squadron

Rich has asked for people to register using the same username that they use on other websites so that others can recognise who you are easily.

If you are not from the area, but know somebody that is, then please let them know about this new resource and hopefully we can get the coach filled for a few games this season.

Here is there website if you are from this region and want to join up
