The Clarets will be live on Sky Sports in the New Year on Saturday January 10th with Swansea City the visitors to Turf Moor.

The kick off time will now be at the later time of 5:20pm to accommodate Sky's television coverage of the match.

This is only the second Clarets league match that will be featured on television so far this season.

Why the Swansea game I wonder? Would have thought there were juicier games to choose. Oh well, at least that's one more

You do have to wonder how they select the games sometimes - Not that I am complaining with this one!

I was told that Sky had not selected their televised game for 10th January 2009 but Roberto Martinez was in the Big League Weekend studio and said that the Clarets were easily the most entertaining and attacking team he had seen this season and immediate contact was made with BFC for the game to be televised. With the £70,000 fee, agreement to Sky's request was not long in coming.
