Joey Misses out on Award

Joey Gudjonsson had an impressive September scoring two goals including a 35 yard thunderbolt against Preston.

He was therefore shortlisted for the Powerade Championship Player of the Month Award for September.

Sadly though, along with Martin Albrectsen of Derby and Micheal Kightly of Wolves, he missed out on the award with the honour being presented yesterday to Reading's striker, Kevin Doyle.
