Jones the Loan!

Owen Coyle has suggested that Steve Jones may benefit from another loan spell away from Turf Moor and has indicated he has already had a couple of enquires.

Last season Jones returned to his former club, Crewe on loan and despite a good pre-season Jonah has been unable to break into the sixteen having yet to make a first team appearance this season.

Coyle said about the Northern Ireland International:

'I have had a chat with Steve and, given the level he has played at and the experience he's had, I wouldn't be adverse to him going out for a month to get match fitness, so we will wait and see what comes of that.

'There have been a couple of clubs enquired, but we need to decide the best thing for Steve and the football club.'

Just cant see Jones ever breaking into the team again which is a shame. Sure, a loan is a good option but maybe it's time to offload in the January window. Crewe would no doubt be interested and he has already indicated he would like to play out his career with his former club
