'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Coyle on Premier League Player Loan

Owen Coyle speaking to the Burnley Express has hinted that one potential new signing could be from the Premier League:

'I'm anticipating doing something this week, said Coyle

'We've been in talks with one or two regarding a loan, and we're getting a little bit closer.

'It's not 100%, but we're certainly moving in the right direction.

'Any signing won't necessarily be a loan, but the one I'm taking about would be, so that tells you he's coming from a club where we probably couldn't afford to pay the fee, or they're not prepared to let him go long term.

'Hopefully that will come to fruition, but we're certainly trying to move that on.'

Clarets fans can now speculate to their hearts content but only one player from the Premier League has been linked with a loan to Burnley FC in recent times,highly-rated Middlesbrough defender Rhys Williams.

Could also be Sunderland international defender, Russell Anderson although the rumour involved a permanent move not loan last time

Keane says we are getting him for a season long loan due to us not being able to afford to buy him. I assume the price is too high.
