Rumour Mill-Jonah for Stan?

Despite a promising pre-season performanace, Steve Jones could be leaving Turf Moor.

Owen Coyle has given Jonah limited opportunity to play in the first team and last season, he was loaned out to his former club, Crewe .

The Lancashire Telegraph believe Huddersfield Town, now managed of course by former Clarets gaffer, Stan Ternent are interested in signing the winger.

I hope we are going to find squad cover for Bes Berisha and now Steve Jones if he departs, not to mention bringing in the defenders we need. Take Kiraly out the equation and the three young guns and our squad is loking pretty small again.

Here we go again..another rumour denied by Coyle on official site

I was surprised to hear that at first. Coyle used him a lot in pre-season, so thought he might be part of the plans. Maybe he was just being given a chance to prove himself. With the arrive of Eagles though I would say we need shut of him. Does Rosenborg's season end at the new year?

I think you are right about Rosenborg but then they might sign him on a permanent basis, who knows whats going on there! I just wonder you know whether we could try Jones in 4-4-2 up front. I believe a striker role is preferred by Jonah rather than wing and he was second best with assists for Crewe in that role a few seasons back if I recall. If he contunues to show the pre-season form, he could be a good squad player but I guess Coyle knows best
