It's Oldham again for the Clarets

BURNLEY will continue their Carling Cup journey with a home fixture against League One side Oldham Athletic at Turf Moor on Tuesday August 26.

Oldham visited Turf Moor at the same stage of the competition last season, with the Clarets coming out on top with a 3-0 scoreline, with Andy Gray, Robbie Blake and Ade Akinbiyi carving their names onto the scoresheet.

These local derbies are good for business so bring on Blackburn next!! ;-)

Don't think we'll be bringing too many, most fans are pretty negative about the draw but I hope it's a good game none the less.

Why negative? Were you hoping for an easy draw or one of the giants? This is a cup game, so anything can happen and it is very local for you. Been a while since you played at the turf. Good draw for us, but like I said it is the cup.

either one tbh, nothing in the middle! We faced uyo last year so it's not a new day out and we were beaten despite putting in a good performance

Forgot about that game :)
