Scots Under 21s call up for Kevin

BURNLEY midfielder Kevin McDonald has this morning been named in Billy Stark's Scotland Under 21s squad for their game against Lithuania.

McDonald who joined Burnley in the summer from Dundee in a deal worth £500,000 has been called up for the game which will take place on August 20 away at Lithuania.

Scotland Squad for the Under 21 European Championship Qualifier:

Goalkeepers: Jamie MacDonald (Hearts), Euan McLean (St Johnstone), Christophe Smith (St Mirren).

Defenders: Paul Caddis (Celtic), Andrew Considine (Aberdeen), Scott Cuthbert (Celtic), Garry Kenneth (Dundee United), Mark Reynolds (Motherwell), Thomas Scobbie (Falkirk), Lee Wallace (Hearts).

Midfielders: Scott Arfield (Falkirk), Ryan Conroy (Celtic), James McArthur (Hamilton Academical), Kevin McDonald (Burnley), Charles Mulgrew (Aberdeen), David Robertson (Dundee United), Lewis Stevenson (Hibernian).

Forwards: Ross Campbell (Hibernian), Graeme Dorrans (West Bromwich Albion), Calum Elliot (Hearts), Steven Lennon (Rangers), Ross McCormack (Cardiff City).
