'If It's Football, It's Vital'

No Driver for Clarets Coach !

Andrew Driver has signed an extension to his contract that will keep him at Tynecastle until 2013.

The 20-year-old,Hearts winger signed a new five-year deal after returning from the club's pre-season tour of Germany.

'We've been negotiating for a while and now I just want to get on the pitch and show the people who had faith in me that I am worth it,Driver told the Official Site

'Hopefully it shows I am doing something right.

'It is all about improvement now. I can settle down and not worry about anything else.

'It takes out the transfer rumours and now I can concentrate 100% on improving my game and giving 100% for Hearts.'

This ends the long speculation that he still might be on Clarets gaffer. Owen Coyle's radar after two Burnley bids had been turned down by Hearts.

Owen Coyle had made it clear, he wouldnt be going in with a third bid unless Hearts approached him.

They clearly haven't and to be honest did we need him now anyway having signed Eagles?
