01:35 am: Minnesota Thunder v Burnley Kick Off. Tuesday, July 15, 2008, 7:35 PM (US Local Time).Watch live on USLLive.com for FREE

Half Time: It's 0-0, Burnley quite lively but cant break down Thunder defence, Kalvenes looking good. Game scrappy at times and few shots on goal by any team. Clarets bit too physical for Thunder and fouls count higher. Paterson came closest to scoring with three minutes remaining of first half.

Full Time Its a 2-0 victory for the Clarets, McCann after 79 minutes and Rodriguez in time added on. Many changes to the side in the second half, Michael Duff, Stephen Jordan, Alan Mahon and Steve Jones replace Clarke Carlisle, Graham Alexander, Joey Gudjonsson and Wade Elliott after 61 minutes, then Ade Akinbiyi on for Robbie Blake after 67 minutes followed by Adam Kay and Jay Rodriguez on for Christian Kalvanes and Martin Paterson after 78 minutes just before our first goal.

Alex MacDonald then replaced Kevin McDonald after 83 minutes before making a delightful run leading to a pass to Rodriguez to score.

Not an exciting game but a solid performance despite all the changes to the side. The Clarets really never broke sweat and at one point looked disinterested as Thunder began to dominate but they came back strongly. Elliott booked
