Thunder AND Lightning?-Coyle Explains

Owen Coyle's side were defeated in their friendly game against Cary Under-23 in the hot and humid conditions in Carolina last week and as they travel to Minnesota to face Minnesota Thunder for their next match, they might now be realising why the team they will be playing against are called THUNDER.

Owen Coyle explains himself:

'It will be a tough game. I know they (Minnesota Thunder) played the other night (against Carolina RailHawks) and the game was postponed for two hours for lightning, so we hope that's not the case.'

So do I Owen, its bad enough waiting up to watch this match on USLLive starting at 1:30 am let alone 3:30 am.

Maybe this weather phenomenon is quite common in Minnesota, the State also has a female soccer club called Minnesota Lightning!!

Good job we are not playing a third game, it would no doubt have been foggy!

Let's hope the Clarets can 'weather the storm' on Tuesday night and win our first pre-season game.
