'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Proggy Vault forum launched by Vital Burnley

A number of posters recently have enquired in our forums about Clarets programmes asking if we could help obtain specific ones to complete their collection.

One of these, Simon aka Burnley Lad is an avid collector of Burnley programmes, and he has 1,300 programmes in his collection going back to 1960, the last time we won the top flight championship.

Simon was approached by Vital Burnley to see if he would like to run a forum devoted to programme collectors searching for Clarets programmes and he has agreed to the idea.

We are therefore pleased to announce today the launch of 'Proggy Vault' where Clarets or indeed rival fans searching for programmes featuring the Clarets (Home or Away) can enquire about those they need.

The forum will also be a useful place for collectors to share notes and contacts plus they can relate their experiences and hightlight good and not so good sources of supply.

The Proggy Vault forum can be found in the Vital Burnley Social section of our forums and we provide a direct link below:

Hope those of you that collect programmes like this new feature and can contribute to helping your fellow Clarets find those elusive Proggys!

We will also put out an APB article if programmes prove difficult to source amongst our posters. This will get networked across NewsNow Burnley and Google, so someone might pick it up and come to your rescue

Good luck guys finding what you need. My brother used to collect them and after a house move it appears they were left behind, so he was a bit gutted.
