Burnley X-Files: Sinclair now a Lincoln Man!
Frank Sinclair has signed a one-year deal for Lincoln City.
He began his career at Chelsea and had spells at Leicester City, Burnley and Huddersfield Town.
In June 2004, Sinclair signed for Burnley on a free transfer during Steve Cotterill's first season in charge. He spent three successful seasons with the Clarets becoming the captain of the team until Wayne Thomas took over that role in 2006-7.
He moved to Huddersfield Town on an emergency loan deal in Feb 2007 before returning to Burnley.
He was then released on a free transfer. and signed a one year contract for Huddersfield Town in May 2007.
Huddersfield released Sinclair at the end of his contract in May 2008, the club now managed of course by two former Clarets, Stan Ternent and Ronnie Jepson.
The 36-year-old helped Chelsea win the FA Cup in 1997 plus he has won two League Cups and played in the 1998 World Cup for Jamaica.
He now joins his former Huddersfield boss, Peter Jackson, the current Imps manager.
