Barnsley have been handed a TV date in November with Burnley after Doncaster Rovers declined to play the derby in front of cameras.

Sky Sports wanted to feature Doncaster Rovers against Barnsley from the Keepmoat at the end of October but it was turned down because Donny did not want to play two game in three days.

The news has just been announced on the Official Barnsley site

The home game with Burnley has been switched to Monday November 24 and will be screened live by Sky Sports. Kick-off is at 7.45pm.

Clarets fans looked to have missed out on televised games in the first seasonal round of games announced by Sky Sports

The Barnsley televised game therefore will be good news for Clarets fans who are exiled and could not have made this match and it's not too bad for home-based Clarets fans intending to travel either as the match has only been changed from a Tuesday night to a Monday night match in the same week.

Find it odd how any club in todays financial age can turn down easy money on a plate. Like true business men our board bit their hands off :-) Problem is will the media turn up to Turf Moor for the game as they tend to mix us both up on a regular basis.
