Vital Burnley launch Northern Chat

Vital Burnley launch Northern Chat

Vital Burnley have for sometime had this idea of inviting local rival fans over from the other Vital club sites to debate key issues affecting all our clubs.

This idea has been moved forward now that the Vital Preston site has finally got an Editor in place.

After some debate with other Vital editors we have decided to launch Northern Chat in our forums.

We will start with one topic on the Vital Burnley site and then alternate with further topics on the other sites.

In the first instance we have decided to limit the topics to those of interest to the Championship clubs in the North of England.

Preston and Blackpool, our main local rivals will be particularly involved but the offer is also open to other Northern clubs including Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield United, Barnsley and new boys Doncaster Rovers.

At a later date we might extend the concept to Northern Premier League clubs and those in League 1 & 2 and of course all the Vital fans are welcome to join in now, no matter where their club are based or what league they play in.

You will be able to find Northern Chat in our Vital Burnley Rivals Forums and we provide below a direct link:

Our first topic will be:

What are he pros and cons of getting promoted to the Premier League and the disadvantages of the parachute payments to those that dont?

Is is getting more and more difficult for midtable clubs to get promoted because of the the yo-yoing Premier League sides?

What do you think? Come along and debate the issue.
