Rumour Mill-Darren Barr

The Clarets have put in a 500,000 bid for Falkirk captain Darren Barr according to the Daily Express.

The offer is based on an initial 250,000 transfer fee topped up by a number of add-ons..

It is beleived that the valuation put on the player by Falkirk will be mush higher( no surprise there then!)

The Glasgow born 23-year-old can can play at right back or in the centre of defence

Barr is believed to be a future Scotland full international and in February 2007 already received his first call up to the 'B' Squad.

Barr started his professional career with Falkirk in 2004 and was also on loan to Forfar during the 2005/6 season.

The defender is not averse to getting stuck in being sent off twice last season.
