250 Up for Vital Burnley!
Vital Burnley has now reached 250 members and monthly site hits continue to break records.
The recent announcement of a partnership with When the Ball Moves...Online ensures that the more hits we now get the more Clarets Trust will benefit so the news above is very welcome.
The reasons for our success can partly be put down to our novel initiatives including the setting up of our Play for your Club online gaming feature, the Rumour Mill section and our recent Matchday Mayhem US forum where US fans from Austin and Minnesota are coming along to discuss our forthcoming friendlies and our intended partnership with a US club.
The recent addition of the When the Ball Moves...forum is already bearing fruit and is predicted to become a crucial part of the sites success over the coming months benefitting When the Ball Moves, Vital Burnley and of course Clarets Trust in particular with 50% of the joint profit now going to the Trust.
Over the next few months we will be looking to move our virtual community into a real life one with pre-match drinky poos intended next season for both our home games (Sparrow Hawk Pub) and away matches (details of pub and location to be provided).
In due course other socials and fundraising events will be on the agenda so come and join our fun Clarets & Footy community.
A Little Bit More about Vital.....
Vital Football was launched in October 2005 offering club sites for every football team in the professional leagues in England and Wales as well as teams in the Scottish Premier League.
As an independent fans network we are not backed by any media or betting organisation and are very much run by the fans for the fans, unlike many other 'fans networks'.
Vital Football is enjoying a growing and loyal following by offering a fully interactive football community experience for fans of all ages following our ethos to provide a platform for them to express their opinions.
The network also provides a portal for campaign groups, pressure groups and other football related worthy causes. Two such examples are the Football Fans Census and Stand Up Sit Down.
