Rumour Mill-No Cesar Salad?

Burnley have had an initial bid for former Baggies loan,Bostjan Cesar rejected by Marseille according to the Sunday Daily Star.

Clarets fans might remember the central defender. He scored his only West Bromich Albion goal in a 2-1 win against Burnley back in February this year.

The 25-year old is a Slovenian International. He signed a three year-deal with Olympique de Marseille in 2005 after spending five years with his first club, Dinamo Zagreb.

He joined West Bromwich Albion on a season-long loan in August 2007, with a view to a permanent move but returned to Marseille at the end of the season after Baggies boss Tony Mowbray decided against pursuing a permanent deal for the player.
