Blue is the Colour? Get Away!! (New Away Kit)

In a bizarre incident yesterday, a website called Historicalkits.co.uk published a graphic on their page showing what our new away kit for 2008/9 would appear to be.

The news fled fast with a number of Clarets websites including our own, providing an insight into the design & colour of the new away strip.

Then the fun began, someone took the image down on the site and we can only assume either the Club, Errea or both complained to the site since no official announcement had been made by the Club.

This morning the Burnley Express have printed a photo of the new kit sported by Blake, McCann and Duff and it has also now been announced on the Official Site

Blue is Back!

Yes,the away kit is predominantly blue. Sky blue to be precise

A sky blue shirt, with a round-neck which features a claret flash.

The kit is completed with claret shorts with blue trim and claret socks

Very nice it is as well as most of us said YESTERDAY!!

i really like both the kits this season, but this one is definately my favorite, one of the best kts i've seen for a while and its about time we used claret and blue in our away kit as not many other teams have those colours.
