Comment - Coyle is right

So James O'Connor is a free man. After taking his time to decide on a new contract he asked for more time. So Coyle did the only think he could, he withdrew the offer and he did the right thing. O'Connor has had two weeks to decide about this and he is more interested in what somebody else may offer. We have now lost 4 players with none coming in yet and I am glad. If these players do not what to play for us then good riddance.

We deserve to have players who are committed to the club and want to play. These players earn very good wages, certainly a damn sight more than I do. We have a long way to go before the new season and Coyle has already given up his holiday to find new players. When the time and the person are right we will have new players. I believe we will start the new season stronger than we were.

That ruddy Rocky gets everywhere! ;-) Fair point but i just hope we can now attract the players of the right calibre, willing to play for the club on whatever salary we can afford. The latter could be a problem, since we are not particularly high in the salary league table and players these days seem to find their motivation via the amount of dosh they get rather than loyalty to the team
