Glentoran New Friendly Date Awaited

Vital Burnley have received the following statement from the club regarding our proposed Glentoran friendly

Burnley`s summer friendly with Glentoran is now subject to a date change.

The Clarets had agreed to travel to Belfast for the prestigious friendly clash on Thursday, July 31.

However, officials at Glentoran have now informed Burnley they are unable to fulfil the fixture on the planned date.

The game is still expected to take place in pre-season. However, a new date has yet to be confirmed.

Burnley Football Club apologise for any inconvenience, which is unfortunately beyond our control.
