Alexander the Great

Burnley's Graham Alexander climbed into the top 30 in the Actim Index, the official player ratings system of the Coca-Cola Championship, after a 25-point haul in the 3-3 draw with Cardiff.

Alexander was the fourth-ranked defender of the week with his performance, climbing into 29th place overall in the standings.

His performance was rivaled by veteran frontman Andrew Cole, the former Manchester United star scoring 38 points against the Bluebirds. It saw the striker climb 37 places to 311th overall, increasing his match average to 14 points per appearance, the highest at the club.

Analysis of all Championship games is taking place throughout the season and so far the top five Burnley players are:

Player, Ranking, Position Ranking, Index Score

Gabor Kiraly, 148, 19th - Ranked Goalkeeper, 322
