Rodriguez goal sinks Coyle's former employers

BURNLEY youngster Jay Rodriguez last night helped to condemn Owen Coyle's former employers, St. Johnstone, to a 3-1 defeat.

Stirling are already relegated to Division Two ahead of next seasons campaign, but with nothing the play for, came out and tought third placed St. Johnstone a lesson.

Burnley's 18-year-old was recently told by gaffer Owen Coyle that he was in his Clarets plans, as he planned for a new youthful future.

And Rodriguez then added his third goal in nine starts and a sub appearance, as his loan spell draws to an end.
