Rodriguez goal sinks Coyle's former employers

BURNLEY youngster Jay Rodriguez last night helped to condemn Owen Coyle's former employers, St. Johnstone, to a 3-1 defeat.

Stirling are already relegated to Division Two ahead of next seasons campaign, but with nothing the play for, came out and tought third placed St. Johnstone a lesson.

Burnley's 18-year-old was recently told by gaffer Owen Coyle that he was in his Clarets plans, as he planned for a new youthful future.

And Rodriguez then added his third goal in nine starts and a sub appearance, as his loan spell draws to an end.

VITAL BURNLEY WILL HAVE AN EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH JAY RODRIGUEZ LATER THIS AFTERNOON, AS MARTYN ROBINSON CATCHES UP WITH THE YOUNGSTER.
