Club Player of the Year Vote

Club Player of the Year Vote

The Club have contacted Vital Burnley asking if we could provide our posters with details of a poll being run to decide our Player of the Year.

Burnley FC`s Player of the Year Awards night takes place on Wednesday, April 30 and once again supporters can play their part by sending in your nominations for the 'Player of the Year'.

It will be your votes that ultimately decide who wins.

A shorlist has been drawn up and the five contenders for the award are:

Wade Elliott, Chris McCann, Graham Alexander, Clarke Carlisle and Robbie Blake.

To have your say, simply send a blank e-mail with your chosen player's name in the subject line to poty@burnleyfc.com

Please note: The poll will run until 10am on Friday, April 25. E-mails from the same account will only count once.

There is also the option available for you to text your vote. By SMS - text BURN 'PLAYER NAME' to 88442.

For example to vote for Chris McCann text: BURN MCCANN to 88442.

(Please note there will be a 25p charge per SMS.)

All entries received will be placed into a prize draw and one lucky winner will receive a pair of tickets to the official awards evening.

There are still places available to attend this year's ceremony, where awards will be presented to the Player of the Year, Players' Player of the Year, Goal of the Season, and a new award for Youth Player of the Season.

The evening will consist of a two-course meal, followed by a special presentation of a video review of the season on large television screens and the awards itself, again hosted by Andy Hodgson.

Tickets cost £35 each, or £320 for a table of 10 and are available now from the commercial department on 0871 221 1882 (option 2).

Dont forget there are two polls now underway on choosing best player awards for the season, this one for the club and the one for Clarets Trust. Please vote in both, there is no connection

Amazing how many think that by not including Harley and JoC, both deemed to have had a better season than Alexander, this in someway suggests they wont be signing new contracts in the summer.
