200 Members Up

200 Members Up

Many thanks to all our members and users of Vital Burnley for contributing to building our Clarets & Footy community.

The site continues to go from strength to strength and the great news is that we now have 200 members. It was only in January this year we were announcing our 150th member. To increase that by another 50 in about two months is tremendous news!

The success of the forums too has been fantastic since we revamped these and introduced new features.

We now have forums for 'Clarets Nostalgia' where you can view old Clarets footage on You Tube and talk about the good old days and we have a forum called 'Matchday Mayhem' where we can harnass the power of the Vital network and invite rival fans over for some banter leading up to a matchday fixture.

Every club in the four divisions of England are represented by a Vital site and a number also cover the teams in the Scottish leagues.

This puts us at a great advantage compared to some of the other Network football sites and we have easy access to the other sites and their editors to arrange discussions with rival fans and engage in some friendly banter in well-moderated forums.

Recent additions to the forums include a Prediction League, Clarets Quiz section and a new online gaming forum for those Clarets fans devoted to Play For Your Team.com

We also have a number of general football and off-topic forums to choose from in addition to those discussing the Clarets.

The success of our site and forums is highlighted by our quarterly hits. Compared to the same quarter last year (Jan-Mar 07) our hits have improved by a factor of 4 over January to March 2008 with a total of well over 3 million hits. The last three months have all been a record.

The good news also is that with Vital's support you will be seeing some additional publicity in the media over the coming months and we hope to see our community build even more.

Vital Burnley have an excellent admin team working behind the scenes from the world of media and IT and of course we have our own Site Journalists.

Our members are also invited to write articles about the Clarets eg match reports and obtain a little bit of fame as we put these up on our front page and allow folk to comment on them.

Everybody can do their part though to make the Vital Burnley Community even stronger, if you are a member why not invite along your Clarets chums or even your chums who support other teams and get them to do the same? The community will build with friends of friends and the fun will get even better.

If you are just reading this and havent yet joined, why not register and say hello in the forums? Vital Burnley will keep you updated on all Clarets news and gossip, including the latest transfer rumours. If we miss any our posters will put us right!

Once again many thanks to all those using Vital Burnley and contributing to our success.

Really, really pleased the way things are going now and thanks for all your support. Lets make the community even better in the close season, invite all your online Clarets or Rival chums over and lets get the forums rocking. There will be promotional activity next season which will also help put the site on the map even more. We are also sponsoring the programme for the Clarets Trust Beer festival in May, so look our for our promo ad in there too.
