Jonah back at Crewe

Jonah back at Crewe

Steve Jones is today rejoining his former club Crewe Alexandra on loan until the end of the season.

Jonah has been unable to get a regular place in the Clarets team this season,

He has managed just one start in a League match against Plymouth at Turf Moor back in January but has also been sidelined with injury until recently.

Owen Coyle had this to say about the loan deal

"Crewe and Huddersfield have been chasing him for the last couple of months, but he has been injured during that time,"

"He has now got a couple of reserve games under his belt, but he needs regular games.

"The question was does he stay here and continue to play in the reserves, or play at a good level with Crewe?

"So, we have decided he can go to Crewe on loan until the end of the season and then he will come back to us in pre-season, obviously still under-contract to ourselves and ready to give his all again."
